55,000 Degrees, Louisville’s community commitment to increasing education attainment and college completion, will be featured on the next episode of Kentucky Educational Television’s Louisville Life program. The program premieres Saturday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. on KET and Thursday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m. on KET2.

Mary Gwen Wheeler, executive director of 55,000 Degrees, is interviewed in studio by Louisville Life host Candyce Clifft.

55,000 Degrees is a public-private partnership dedicated to propelling Louisville into the top tier of competitor cities on education attainment by adding 40,000 more bachelor’s degrees and 15,000 more associate’s degrees by 2020.

In the latest edition, Louisville Life also takes a look at a new collaborative production at the Actors Theatre of Louisville, meets lifestyle designer Barry Wooley and visits Nuts n Stuff.
